Coaching the new Christian belief
by admin on Tuesday, January 24th, 2012 | No Comments
. Christian Belief and Life Coaching can be traced in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, teach, people do what they do because they believe what they believe? that is,? As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.? (Proverbs 23:7)
This alternative to traditional Christian counseling is not built on personal skills or abilities therapeutic, but the powerful truth of the Word of God to counter the lies people have unfortunately believed. If an injured person does not choose to allow the Word of God to speak in his life, nothing will change. However, when he or she does, God will renew your mind and heal life-changing. Instead of focusing on the bad behavior of one person, this process focuses on problematic thinking errors that are rooted in a false belief system.
Coaching belief suggests that the problems of control of life and distortions of reality, responsibility and accountability are based on lies people believe. These lies have resulted in dysfunctional learning in the cognitive development of a person. Coach Christian belief helps a customer to identify the lies buried in his belief system, replace the truth, and begin the renewal of the mind (Romans 12:2). Appropriate truth begin to make the person free, changing their way of thinking about things. replacement of the truth may be, and often has an immediate effect on a person's actions or behavior, but the renewal of the mind is a process.
A central element of belief Coaching is a positive development of Christian self-concept based on God's unconditional, love in the election of Jesus Christ. With a biblical view of self-concept a person is released from the burden of having to generate feelings of self-worth in terms of performance. As a Christian, that is, a believer in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, it need not be a slave to the conduct of self-improvement, he / she can have the freedom to be selfish and apparent virtues as faith, integrity, knowledge, patience, self-control, awareness of God, goodness, love, sacrifice, obedience and humility. But without a healthy acceptance of self in terms of who we are? In Christ? practice of these values can easily become a neurotic trying to get God's approval.

Christian Sex - 7 Barriers to compliance Married Sexuality
by admin on Wednesday, January 18th, 2012 | No Comments
. Many Christian couples to experience great sex. However, it is an essential ingredient for a fundamental Christian marriage. Here are 7 barriers to a fun and satisfying sex life for Christian spouses
1. Not knowing what God says about sex
The first commandment that God gave him was to have sex. (Genesis 1: 27-28.) God had just created mankind in His image, commanded to be fruitful? and multiply? and then comment? was good? (Genesis 1:31). Somehow, it seems that this was a priority for Adam and Eve.
2. Talking very little with their spouse about sexuality or your preferences.
When couples can share with your spouse about sexuality or sexual preferences, intimacy is created. There is an emotional bond with the level of vulnerability to intimate conversational level. A great place to start talking about sex is to share what sex means to you emotionally, how often you would like to have sex, and even the time of day or specific days.
3. Participate out of obligation rather than pleasure.
Many believe that sex is intended only for procreation rather than recreation. On the contrary, poetic references in the Song of Songs to describe the sexual act is acceptable and expected. Feel free to have fun with sex with different positions and places. However, everything must be with respect to considerations of your spouse. I Corinthians 1:4 says that our bodies belong to our peers, not just us. It is written in a spirit of equality, where both spouses are to serve others, rather than control the other. For one spouse to force others without consent sexual behavior is abusive.
4 Lack of plan.
Many couples, especially Christians, are sexually frustrated. While some of this can be attributed to different sexual appetites, much more is the result of the low frequency. Sex is never convenient, but is essential to a vital relationship. Plan for sex like you would any other appointment. Instead of thinking of this old and is satisfied that lets you and your spouse to plan time together. Planning also alleviates any concerns about sexual deprivation and sexual pressure.
5. Using sex as a reward or punishment. Sex
is often used as a reward for positive behavior. Or it can be retained when a spouse is angry with the other. When couples are sabotaging your sex life becomes a bartering system. Because of their vulnerability, making love should be unconditional to be meaningful. Find other ways to thank your spouse, and healthy ways to overcome their resentment.
6. The unresolved issues of sexual abuse.
Sexual abuse issues follow spouses in marriage. Victims of sexual abuse may have an aversion to lovemaking, or experience painful reminders of the past. For some, there may be a distortion of healthy sexuality. If you have been injured from sexual abuse, they realize they did nothing to deserve this. In addition, there is hope. I encourage you to find a counselor who specializes in this area, and begin the road to recovery. It's one thing to survive sexual abuse, and another to overcome it.
7. The pornography.
The destructive force more important to a healthy sex life is pornography. And yes, I'm talking about Christian marriages. Images are recorded in the mind of a person, creating an insatiable thirst for more erotic behavior or harmful behaviors. Some couples have reported use of pornography enhances their sex life. I disagree. It is not only demeaning, but fosters empty relationships, focusing on the physical rather than love. If your marriage has been affected by pornography, find a qualified counselor to help you rebuild intimacy in your marriage.
In my experience as a Christian counselor, a great confusion that exists among married couples regarding a healthy Christian sex life. The reality is that God has given sex as a gift for married couples to accept rather than tolerate, or misuse. Much of today's culture promotes a vision of sex contaminated. As Christians, we are changing our culture by strengthening our marriages with a healthy Christian sexuality.

The blessing of the Christian Sabbath
by admin on Friday, January 6th, 2012 | No Comments
. In Christian circles, even among those who believe in keeping the Ten Commandments, has not yet been confusion about the fourth commandment, and if we keep the Sabbath on the seventh day he was ordained, consecrated and sanctified by God at the time of creation.
In order to develop a close relationship with God, we must spend quality time with him. He set aside this day as a special time of communion with him. It is a time where we can study His Word and let His Holy Spirit speaks through him. One can spend time in fervent prayer, talking to Him, praising and worshiping Him.
It is also a time we can look at nature and think about all the wonderful creations that He has done. And finally, is a time to spend with other believers, to worship together in song and fellowship with one another, encouraging one another and build each other's faith to the testimonies.
God also gave us this special day as a day of rest. In this hectic world with our busy lifestyles it is so easy to get so absorbed in other things that we never have time for God and never have time to let all our work and just let your body recover.
Some Christians spend a couple of hours of a Sunday morning to church, but then the sound of the drum of everyday life catches up with them and start doing chores like mowing the lawn. Others go to the footy, or do other secular activities where God is not only part of it. Sunday Christians often claim that Sunday is the Sabbath, but if you really believe this, then it follows that prove this by keeping the day holy and consecrated to God, without secular activities.
With stress-related diseases such as cancer and heart attacks each year increasing the need to have a day off, and enjoy the presence of our Father, all powerful in heaven, has never been more important. We need to spend time with Him to be replaced and at rest.
God gave us the Sabbath as a blessing for all mankind. One day you could spend time with him to really get to know Him and fellowship with him. A day that does not have to do any work or task. A day of rest, away from the worries and cares of this world.
God also ordered on Saturday the seventh day in remembrance that He is the Creator of Heaven and Earth. The Bible says, Exodus 20:8-11? Remember the Sabbath day holy. Six days you and all your work, but the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God?. They do not do any work
The Scriptures also show us the true spirit of the Sabbath. Isaiah 58:13-14? If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day, and call a delight ..?
This shows that the Sabbath is a delight and a blessing. It's a wonderful day and something to look forward each week.
All biblical references are from the King James version.
